Pretty much any caster weapon I find out in the wild gets merchanted. They're utter crap. I've had several of those triple-profession weapons also. The first time boggled my mind, and the next times I just rolled my eyes and ran to the merchant. |

Many, many, many times I get a purple or gold sword/axe/hammer/bow and it's usually pretty decent and worth wielding. Almost everytime I get a wand/staff/focus, I know ahead of time that it's crap, and usually is. That's severe drop inbalance. I think I only got a +5e^50 gold wand once, and it turned out to be non-max damage (not that it really matters, but still). Collector/Weaponsmith caster items FTW. Which, ya know, kinda sucks. Good luck getting a rare-skinned caster item with good/perfect mods. It would already be worth way more than anyone's willing to pay. Cause, ya know, who cares? |
